Box Score HUNTINGTON, Ind. – The Spring Arbor University men's soccer team dominated from start to finish on the pitch. Although the score showed 0-0 at the end of 45 minutes of play, the Cougars had all the momentum. Picking up in the second half where they left, early pressure on the Huntington University defense proved to be too much for the Foresters. The Cougars scored twice within five minutes of each other midway through the second half to seal a huge road win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- A quality first half from the Cougars saw the Huntington defense scrambling to keep it even. Spring Arbor tested the Forester goalie often throughout, posting four shots on goal.
- The second half was more of the same from the Cougars. However, this time they found the back of the net twice. In the 62nd minute Janum Sailor found teammate Lewis Jones' head inside the 18 to give the Cougars the 1-0 lead they were looking for.
- Only four minutes later, Spring Arbor found pay dirt once again. This time Sailor was on the receiving end of a beautiful pass from freshman Alex Sokalski. The goal in the 66th minute all but sealed the victory for the road team.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE
- Spring Arbor picks up its second road win in as many games in the league and continues to control their own destiny. The Cougars remain the only unbeaten team in the conference.
- The Cougars defense played like we have grown to expect. The Cougars gave up ten shots, however only one was on goal. Spring Arbor outshot the Foresters 12-10 and 6-1 with shots on goal.
FOR THE FOES
- Huntington drops to 2-2 in the conference and 4-7-1 overall.
- The Foresters posted 10 shots with Marcos Salinas collecting three, which included the only shot on target. Both teams registered four corner kicks.
- Brad Buzzard finished with four saves and took the loss in net for Huntington.

- "The guys' effort and work rate today was the difference. The surface was difficult to get our game going, but the consistency and discipline in our pressing game was the difference."

Spring Arbor will come home to familiar ground to take on the Maple Leafs of Goshen College. The game is slated to start at 7 p.m. Saturday night, Oct. 8.
