VS. BRIAR CLIFF
- Melody Donovan went toe-to-toe in a pitchers' duel with Briar Cliff's Alayna Allen for eight innings before the Chargers were able to break the scoreless deadlock with three runs in the top of the eighth.
- After the scheduled seven innings and both teams were tied at 0-0, the teams went into extras. Playing with the international tiebreaker rule, the Chargers started with a runner on second base to begin the eighth inning. A bunt base hit put runners on the corners with no outs, and then, two batters later, BCU's Joselyn Chronic drove in the game's first run with an infield single. With two outs in the inning, Bailey Nichols delivered the big hit, a two-RBI double.
- Leah Denome went 2-for-3 while Allison VanBrandt also singled.
- Donovan pitched all eight innings, giving up seven hits and striking out three batters.
VS. CORNERSTONE
- Spring Arbor got on the scoreboard in the first inning when Hope Longenbarger drew a bases loaded walk to bring in Jessie Panchaud.
- The Cougars doubled their lead in the third. After a leadoff single by Longenbarger, Kelsey Sturgeon would drive her in with a double to the left field fence.
- That would be all the run support Wirgau needed. The senior pitcher allowed faced only two batters more than the minimum on her way to a complete game shutout, and retired 14 Golden Eagles in a row from the second through the end of the sixth inning.
- Denome picked up two more hits while Chloe Gignac also went 2-for-4.
