Box Score 2 KISSIMMEE, Fla. – The Spring Arbor University softball team closed out its time in Florida with a pair of wins on Friday, defeating Hannibal-LaGrange University 6-5 and Robert Morris University 2-0.

VS. HANNIBAL-LAGRANGE
- Spring Arbor erased a 2-1 deficit with a four-run sixth inning. With two outs and the bases loaded, Maddison Brock delivered the key hit, clearing the bases with a double to left field. Three batters later, Brock would cross the plate on an RBI single by Jessie Panchaud.
- Hannibal-LaGrange pushed three runs across in the bottom of the sixth to tie the score 5-5, but the Cougars responded in the seventh. It was Brock, once again, that came through in the clutch, recording a two-out RBI hit to bring home Brookelyn Stafford.
- Brock went 2-for-4 at the plate with a career-high four RBI's and a run scored. Sarah Matlock and Jade Nowe also picked up a pair of hits while Panchaud went 3-for-4.
- Lauren Wirgau pitched five shutout innings, surrendering only three hits and striking out four batters.
VS. ROBERT MORRIS
- Melody Donovan and Hannah Laurin combined to toss seven shutout innings against Robert Morris. Donovan worked five solid innings giving up seven hits and Laurin retired all six batters she faced over the sixth and seventh innings to earn the save.
- Nowe was a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate with an RBI while Elena Fajardo went 1-for-2 with an RBI.
