UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University track & field teams competed at the Saginaw Valley State University Classic on Friday, highlighted by a pair of national qualifying performances in the men's 800 meters.
Dean Reynolds and
Camden Khon both met the NAIA A standard in the event with Reynolds winning the race in 1:50.71 and Khon placing third with a time of 1:51.20.
On the women's side,
Alyssa Budd captured first place in the long jump with a mark of 5.42 meters.
Overall, the Cougars recorded nine new SAU Top 10 performances at the meet.
