Box Score 2 HUNTINGTON, Ind. – The Spring Arbor University baseball team trailed by three entering the eighth inning in game two of Friday's doubleheader with Huntington University. But, behind back-to-back-to-back home runs, the Cougars would take the lead and hold on to win 10-9.

GAME 1 HIGHLIGHTS
- Huntington took control early in game one scoring four runs in the first inning.
- The Foresters would add to their lead with four more runs in the second and one in the third to pull ahead 9-0.
- Spring Arbor cut into the deficit with two runs in the fifth inning. A double by Francisco Ondina drove in Nick Harris and Conner Lengerich.
- The Cougars would make things interesting with a four-run sixth – highlighted by a two-run homer by Tyler Reed.
- Huntington got a run back in the bottom of the sixth, however, and would retire SAU in order in the seventh to secure the victory.
- Lengerich went 2-for-3 with one run and two RBI. James Hall and Harris also picked up two hits apiece.
- Freshman pitcher Gavin Harris suffered the loss after giving up nine runs in three innings of work. Senior Drew Weston pitched three innings out of the bullpen and surrendered one run on two hits while striking out one.
GAME 2 HIGHLIGHTS
- Spring Arbor led 4-3 after three innings of play in game two, but Huntington would tally two runs in the fourth and three in the sixth to jump in front.
- The Foresters held a 9-6 advantage entering the eighth inning, but the Cougar offense would erupt for four runs to regain the lead. After a one out single by Hall, Chris Triplett belted his first career home run to close the game to two. Reed followed suit and launched a solo shot over the left field fence to tie the game and chase pitcher Blake Gray. Lengerich, the very next batter, would step to the plate and greet the new pitcher with another solo home run to give SAU a 10-9 lead.
- Andrew Wright would shut down the Foresters in the eighth and ninth to complete the come from behind victory.
- Reed recorded four hits in the contest with two doubles to go along with his home run. He also scored three runs and drove in three.
- Wright earned his second win of the campaign after pitching 3.1 innings of relief. He allowed one run on two hits while fanning four.

Spring Arbor will wrap up the three-game series with a single nine-inning game against Huntington on Saturday starting at 1 p.m.
