THE BASICS
SCORE: Spring Arbor 4, #7 Southeastern 5
LOCATION: Fletcher Park | Lakeland, Fla.
RECORDS: Spring Arbor 4-10, Southeastern 22-1

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Spring Arbor fell behind 1-0 early after a first inning home run by Southeastern's Gerald Ceballos.
- The Cougars got on the scoreboard with a run in the third inning to tie the game. Francisco Ondina drew a walk to lead off the frame and would immediately steal second base. After advancing to third on a fly out by Chris Triplett, he would come around to score on an RBI groundout by Conner Lengerich.
- Southeastern regained the lead in the home half of the inning. Ceballos blasted his second homer of the night to open the frame. The Fire would also add two more runs, including another solo home run, this time by Derek Martin.
- Spring Arbor answered right back, however, with three runs of their own in the fourth. Back-to-back RBI doubles by Kyle Harris and Nick Harris closed the gap to one before Ondina delivered an RBI triple to even things at 4-4.
- That was how the score stayed until the bottom of the seventh inning when the Fire manufactured the go-ahead run, and would hold on to earn their 22nd win of the season – tied for the most among all NAIA teams.
- In his first collegiate start, Gavin Harris pitched six complete innings giving up four runs on seven hits while striking out three. Elijah Brook was hit with the loss after surrendering one run on one hit in two innings of relief.
