Box Score UPLAND, Ind. – The Spring Arbor University baseball team had its six-game winning streak ended by Taylor University Monday at Winterholter Field. The two teams combined for 30 runs and 28 hits on the afternoon, including three home runs by the Cougars. It would not be enough however as the Trojans came out on top 19-11.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Conner Lengerich picked up right where he left off following his career-day against Grace with a first inning two-run home run to give Spring Arbor an early lead.
- Taylor answered in the bottom half of the first with two home runs, including a grand slam by Brian Fields, to grab an 8-2 advantage.
- The Trojans took an 11-2 lead into the fourth inning, but the Cougars would close the gap. Following an RBI single by Jack Driscoll, Tyler Reed hit a grand slam to get SAU within four, 11-7.
- Spring Arbor continued to fight back getting two runs in the sixth off Reed's second long ball of the game and two more runs in the seventh on a triple by Francisco Ondina.
- After SAU battled to make it a 15-11 score, Taylor put the game out of reach with four runs in the bottom of the seventh.
- Reed finished with six RBI, which matched his career-high. Kyle Harris posted a 3-for-5 day at the plate while Chris Triplett, Ondina and Reed all collected two hits apiece.
