Box Score 2 SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University baseball team ran its winning streak six games with a sweep of a doubleheader against Grace College on Saturday at Hank Burbridge Field.

GAME 1 HIGHLIGHTS
- Spring Arbor plated three runs in the bottom of the second inning. Alex Holley got the scoring started with a bases loaded RBI single. Then, Francisco Ondina followed with a base hit to left to bring home two more runs.
- Grace scored three times over the next two innings, but the Cougars answered every run and would take a 6-3 lead into the sixth inning.
- Spring Arbor widened the gap in the home half of the sixth. The Lancers committed a pair of miscues and SAU would make it hurt. After leading off the frame with a hit, Holley would come around to score on an error. Later in the inning, Chris Triplett would cross the plate on a wild pitch.
- Brody Harris would strike out the side in the seventh inning to secure the victory.
- Nick Harris was 2-for-3 with two runs scored while Holley and Ondina also picked up two hits apiece. Christian Davis drove in a pair of runs with a double.
- For the second straight start, Harris tossed a complete game. In seven innings of work, the left-hander allowed three runs on five hits while striking out a season-high eight batters.
GAME 2 HIGHLIGHTS
- Spring Arbor got the offense going early again in game two. Jack Driscoll reached on a base hit and then a perfectly executed hit-and-run by Tyler Reed moved Driscoll to third base. Conner Lengerich followed with a squeeze bunt allowing Driscoll to score.
- The score remained 1-0 until the fifth inning when Grace's Chase Baker hit a solo home run to tie the game.
- In the bottom of the fifth, Lengerich put the Cougars back on top with a two-RBI triple to left field. He would also score on a sacrifice fly by Harris.
- Lengerich capped off his career-day with a two-run bomb in the seventh to put SAU on top 6-1.
- Drew Weston and Elijah Brook would each throw a scoreless inning of relief to close out the game.
- Lengerich finished the game going 2-for-3 at the plate with two runs scored and a career-high five RBI. Reed also collected two hits and scored a run.
- Duncan Patterson pitched two shutout innings two start the game, striking out five of the seven batters he faced. Andrew Manier would also work two shutout innings fanning three. Andrew Wright earned the win going three innings allowing one run on one hit.
