MOUNT VERNON, Ohio – The Spring Arbor University baseball team dropped its opening game of the 2017 Crossroads League Tournament, falling to Mount Vernon Nazarene University 5-3. The Cougars and MVNU played even for seven innings, but the hosts tallied a pair of runs in the eighth and escaped a ninth inning jam to defeat SAU.
