HOW IT HAPPENED

- After another Forester run in the top of the fourth, SAU would rally again. The Cougars plating four runs in the home half of the frame, including three following an HU error that would have ended the inning.
- Huntington refused to go away quietly, scoring single runs in the sixth, seventh and eighth innings to stay within striking distance.
- The Foresters brought the go-ahead run to the plate in the ninth inning, but Vincent Herschberger worked his way out of the jam by inducing a groundout before striking out the final batter of the game.
- Spring Arbor pounded out 13 hits on the day. Chris Triplett, Driscoll and Hall recorded three hits apiece to lead the way. Hall enjoyed a career-day in his final game at Burbridge Field. The senior outfielder went 3-for-4 at the plate with two runs scored and two RBI's.
- The Cougars stole five bases, pushing them over the century mark for the season. Spring Arbor has now swiped 102 bases on the year – the most since stealing 101 during the 2010 campaign.
