Box Score UPLAND, Ind. – The fourth-seeded Spring Arbor University baseball team opened up Crossroads League Tournament play by taking on the fifth-seed, Marian University, on Friday. Marian led 3-2 after six innings, but the Knights would tally 11 runs over the final three innings en route to dealing the Cougars a 14-2 setback.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Marian held a 3-0 lead through five innings, but the Spring Arbor bats were finally able to break through in the sixth. The Cougars scored two runs on RBI singles by Evan Lorey and Duncan Patterson to cut the deficit to one.
- The Knights answered with two runs in the seventh to boost the margin back to three runs before pushing six runs across in the eighth to put the game out of reach.
- Chris Triplett collected two of SAU's eight hits while Jack Driscoll and Francisco Ondina both scored.
- Gavin Harris suffered the loss on the mound. Harris surrendered five runs on 11 hits over six innings of work while striking out five batters.

Spring Arbor will face top-seeded Indiana Wesleyan University (35-17) in an elimination game on Saturday, May 5 starting at 7 p.m.
