GAME 1 HIGHLIGHTS
- Spring Arbor scored four times in the bottom of the second. A throwing error by Rochester brought the first two runners in before Miller delivered a two-RBI single to center to plate Brant Mast and Jacob King.
- That was all the support Nielsen would need as the junior transfer tossed five innings allowing one run on three hits while striking out four batters. Trick worked two scoreless innings of relief and fanned three.
- Miller was 2-for-3 with four RBI's in his collegiate debut. Mast scored twice and added an RBI.
GAME 2 HIGHLIGHTS
- It was a good old-fashioned pitcher's duel in game two. Both starters, Spring Arbor's Sean Cassel and Rochester's Josh Chekal, each worked four scoreless innings to start the contest.
- The Warriors got on the scoreboard in the top of the fifth inning. After starting the inning with a double, Mario Scribner came around to score on a sacrifice fly by Connor Romine.
- The Cougars still trailed 1-0 heading into the bottom of the seventh, but rallied back to even the score and force extra innings. Evan Lorey doubled to get things started. Two batters later, Peyton Harding brought Lorey home on a sacrifice fly.
- Rochester grabbed the lead in the 10th, getting a two-out RBI hit by Bruce Kudela.
- SAU battled back again, however. Harding started the rally with a leadoff hit and Mast laid done a sacrifice bunt to move Evan Zigler, pinch running for Harding, into scoring position. Then, Kraabel ripped a base hit into center field to bring home the tying run. Later in the inning, with runners at second and third, Miller delivered the first game-winning hit of his career, driving a ball into the gap in left-center allowing Kraabel to cross the plate and complete the comeback.
- Harding finished the game 2-for-3 at the plate with an RBI. Miller was added another RBI, giving him a combined five RBI's on the afternoon.
- Cassel pitched 4.1 innings giving up one run on four hits with three strikeouts. Jon Williams worked 0.2 innings of scoreless relief while Gavin Harris picked up the win after tossing five outstanding innings out of the bullpen, striking out six batters.

- "We have hammered home the concept of pitching and defense all fall and I thought we were exceptional at both today. That was a lot fun, especially for fall baseball."
