Box Score 2 OWENSBORO, Ky. – The Spring Arbor University baseball team opened the spring portion of its schedule with a doubleheader against Brescia University on Monday. The Cougars suffered a pair of walk-off defeats to the Bearcats, falling 7-6 in extra innings in game one before dropping a 5-4 contest in the nightcap.

GAME 1 HIGHLIGHTS
- Zach Kraabel had an RBI single and Peyton Harding drove in another run with a sacrifice fly in the top of the seventh to give Spring Arbor a 6-3 lead.
- Brescia would tally three runs in the home half of the seventh to send the game into extra innings. Then, in the bottom of the eighth, the Bearcats brought home the game-winning run on a walk-off single.
GAME 2 HIGHLIGHTS
- Conner Lengerich hit a three-run home run to give the Cougars a 3-0 lead in the fifth inning. Brescia answered, however, with three runs in the bottom half of the frame to even the score.
- Spring Arbor regained the lead in the seventh after scoring on a catcher's interference. But, the Bearcats would rally one more time, plating two runs in the last of the seventh inning to walk-off for the second time of the day.

Spring Arbor concludes its four-game series with Brescia on Tuesday, Feb. 26. Game one of the doubleheader is scheduled to start at 12 p.m. ET from Chautauqua Park in Owensboro, Kentucky.
