Box Score LAKE WALES, Fla. – The Spring Arbor University baseball team won the final game of its three-game series against Crossroads League foe Mount Vernon Nazarene University. Senior Chris Triplett smashed a pair of home runs in the contest to lead the Cougars to an 11-1 victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Spring Arbor scored five runs in the first two innings – highlighted by a Triplett three-run blast in the top of the second.
- Triplett belted his second homer of the afternoon in the fourth inning to increase the SAU lead to 6-0.
- Peyton Harding drove in two more in the fifth with a two-run double, and Conner Lengerich and Jacob King added run-scoring hits in the sixth.
- Lengerich and King, both, finished 3-for-4 at the plate. Lengerich also had three RBI's and two runs scored. Triplett was 2-for-4 with four runs scored and four RBI's.
- Gavin Harris earned the win on the mound. The junior right-hander pitched six innings giving up one run on five hits while fanning six batters.
