Box Score SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University baseball team grabbed its third straight victory Thursday afternoon at Hank Burbridge Field, defeating the University of Michigan-Dearborn 10-8 in non-conference action.
Senior catcher Steve Salow went 3-for-4 at the plate with three RBI's while freshman Zach Kraabel scored three times and pitched two scoreless innings of relief.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Chris Triplett got the scoring started in the bottom of the first inning, launching the first pitch he saw over the left field fence for his team-leading eighth home run of the season. Spring Arbor would add three more runs in the frame, including two on a base hit by Salow.
- The Cougars tallied two runs in the second inning and three more in the third to build a 9-0 lead after three innings.
- Michigan-Dearborn capitalized on a couple SAU defensive miscues in the middle innings, scoring four times in the fourth inning and plating two more unearned runs in the sixth to get within four, 10-6.
- The Wolverines brought the potential go-ahead run to the plate in the ninth, but Vincent Herschberger would take over on the mound and slam the door shut to earn his third save of the season.
- Salow's three hits were a career-high. Kraabel and Evan Lorey picked up two hits apiece while Kraabel scored three runs.
- Aaron Spry recorded the win on the mound pitching three innings. Noah Brook and Kraabel added two innings of work apiece.
