HOW IT HAPPENED
- Bethel capitalized on a pair of walks and an SAU error to push two across in the top of the third inning.
- That would be all the run support BC's starting pitcher, Kory Goodrich, needed as he limited the Cougars' offense to just one run over nine innings.
- Spring Arbor had its chances, stranding a total of 10 runners on base, including leaving the bases loaded in the sixth.
- Duncan Patterson went 3-for-4 and drove in Spring Arbor's only run. Conner Lengerich collected two hits and scored.
- Zach Kraabel suffered the loss on the mound giving up two runs in three innings of work. Aaron Spry tossed 1.1 innings of scoreless relief while Evan Lorey pitched 3.2 innings allowing one run while striking out four batters.
