Men’s Bowling Takes Runner-Up Finish at CL Tournament #3

INDIANAPOLIS – The Spring Arbor University men's bowling team finished second out of eight teams at Crossroads League Tournament #3 on Saturday at Royal Pin Western in Indianapolis.
 
The Cougars totaled 5,557 pins on the day, finishing just behind Marian University, which claimed first place with 5,738 pins to secure the Crossroads League regular season championship. Indiana Wesleyan rounded out the top three with 5,542 pins.
 
Individually, Zachary Pedro led Spring Arbor, placing 14th overall with a three-game total of 635 pins, averaging 211.7 pins per game. Carson Kohler, last week's Crossroads League Men's Bowler of the Week, followed closely behind with a 17th place finish, rolling 630 pins. Anthony Fotis added another solid performance for the Cougars, finishing 22nd with 615 pins.
 
Spring Arbor will now turn its attention to postseason competition, as the Cougars prepare for the USBC Intercollegiate Team and Individual Sectionals, scheduled for March 14–15.
